Scenic it all before?

My daughter wishes to replace her Scenic for a similar-sized car that must be reliable. The Scenic has recently had numerous 'electrical' problems. The replacement must be able to tow a small sailing boat as well as transporting sons (both over 6ft) to University with all their gear. Your comments will be welcome.
