Picant choose

I am 70 years old and am looking to purchase either a KIA Picanto 1.0 model, or a TOYOTA Aygo 1.0 model, which I think will be the last new car I shall buy. In your opinion, which would be the more reliable of the two. I am inclined towards the KIA, but am aware of the very good name of Toyota. Both cars feature the £2,000 Government Scrappage Scheme.

The deal on the 5-door KIA Picanto was originally from £4,195 after
scrappage and the 5-year warranty is two years longer. But 2009 models are now sold out and base 2010 models arriving from 1st August are a more money. The Czech built Aygo goes and handles better, but cheapest models are only 3-door and the back seats do not fold down flat. They do in the Picanto, making it more versatile and better able to carry a dog.
