“Fillhole motorists….”

There is a very quick, and often effective way of reporting potholes, dangerous "traffic calming features" etc. Just enter the details into the website www.fixmystreet.com and they pass it on to whichever authority is responsible. I reported one pothole in Hart District Council's area that was fixed within two days. I reported another two in Rushmoor Council's area of which one was repaired within two days and the other took a couple of weeks.

Further investigation established that www.fixmystreet.com not only reports damaged roads and crumbling traffic harming measures, but also keeps a record of these reports. That then creates a liability on the relevant authority to repair the damage or have to compensate anyone whose vehicle was damaged after the report was lodged. I had been urging www.potholes.co.uk to do that. But if it's done already by www.fixmystreet.com, then no point in doubling up.
