Not getting through

I have followed your suggestions on using Shell V Power fuel, high revs, and petrol cleaners (3 times). However I am still having problems as the engine sometimes cuts out when I stop at a junction. It seems to cut out after I start moving and leaves me half way across the road. I noticed that this might also relate to a faulty fuel cut-off solenoid switch on this car but the garage tell me that it does not have one and also that they have no experience of this problem with these cars. Have you any other suggestions apart from a possibly long investigation?

Hmm. If it has a fuel injection engine then it must have an inertia fuel cut off switch to stop the fuel tank sender pump spraying petrol into a possibly burning engine compartment. So it might be that, might be the sender pump, might be the sender pump relay or might be the earths to one or other of the latter two.
