I think I may have forgotten to thank you for your help. You recommend that I try the Hyundai i10 and I am now the proud and very please owner of one. I didn't manage to get a deal as my old car died on me just before I could use it as a trade-in so it cost a little more than I was hoping to pay but it is at the moment really worth it. Several people in car parks with i10s have come up and said how pleased with them they are so that instils confidence.

Great little car. They just can't make enough of them. Which, like a MINI, is excellent for residual values.
