Do all dash cameras need hardwired to use parking mode?
I have a new car and want a dash cam with parking mode. Is it possible to have one that doesn't need hard wiring? I'd prefer it to run on aux socket, but would it stop working when I turn off the ignition?

The 622GW can use its internal battery to detect any knock to your car for more than a week, according to Nextbase, so you don’t need to drain the car's battery or hardwire the dash camera to use this function. Nextbase says: "When the car is off, Intelligent mode can be activated - the dash cam will turn on and record using its internal battery power. Consumption is incredibly low with only the G Force sensor active, meaning the Dash Cam can use its internal battery to detect any knock or bump to your vehicle for more than a week."

If you want a cheaper model, the parking feature works without hardwiring on the Nextbase 322GW, 422GW and 522GW, too.
