Back crack
I took delivery of my new company car, a red Lexus IS220D SE, one month ago and have been suffering from constant backache, which I did not have with my previous car, a 2006 Toyota Avensis T4 estate, or for that matter any other car in the past. Otherwise, the car is excellent. I am wondering whether any of your readers have experienced similar problems, with what are bucket style seats. The problem seems to be that the seat is digging into the left side of my back and I simply can't get comfortable whatever adjustment I make to the seat. I feel that I now face the problem of having to go back to the company to ask if the car can be swapped for another make. I am sure that this will not go down well given the current economic climate. I would appreciate your views.

Go to the website www.drivingergonmics.com and follow its
suggestions, in particular in regard to reclining the backrest slightly so
the weight of your torso is not concentrated into the base of your spine. If that doesn't work then I'm afraid it's back to the company carpool.
