Eastern premise

I will shortly be returning to the UK and I am thinking of treating myself to a car. I enjoy driving and currently have a Triumph TR4A and a Honda Prelude 2.2 VTI. I have enjoyed the Prelude very much it has a great build quality, fast and fun to drive and is comfortable however it's time for a change. I have been considering a Mazda MX8 but I am wondering if there is a vehicle out there that I am missing, my budget is in the £8k-£10k range but could be stretched. I would welcome your thoughts

Plenty of Mazda RX-8s in your price bracket. They are cheap because they are relatively high emission and have relatively poor economy. MX-5s were very cheap over the winter, but there are now signs of a revival. Nevertheless, you'll easily get a pre-facelift current model within budget. You might also consider a late Toyota Celica T-Sport 190.
