Let Jazz tyre be done

I have a 2008 model Honda Jazz, which is excellent in all respects except the awful ride. It is fitted with 15" Alloy wheels and Bridgestone Potenza 185/55 tyres, which are also very noisy. Would a change of tyre improve matters and, if so, any suggestions?

Not much. Not unless you go to smaller 14" wheels and deeper profile 175/65 R14 tyres.
