I read your column and noticed your reply to D.O. of Barnsley. I accept that the current 'regime' uses motorists as cash cows, yet I'm unable to find any policy difference of the opposition with regard to speed cameras. There was a Tory majority council which removed funding for speed cameras but this doesn't seem to be a national policy.

Useless opposition, universal greed and a pathetic public is why we've got the idiots in power that we have. I’d stand against them for election myself, but unfortunately I’m too politically incorrect to secure the funding (as I’ve just proved).
