Speed Awareness Curse

Like your recent correspondent I too have been offered a Speed Awareness course for doing 38mph on a recently reduced speed section of dual carriageway. The offer has been made by our euphemistically named Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team. Unlike him I am not paying £60 or even £90 but an eyewatering £110. I've concluded C.R.E.S.T is really Car Revenue Extortion Scheme Team.
