Key quest
My son has purchased an 08 reg Ford Fiesta Zetec. It came with just one remote key, plus the coded 'master'. I would be happier if we had a spare key in the house, but was quoted approx £160 by Ford - £60 for the key, the rest for encoding etc. To say I was staggered is an understatement. Am I able to get a spare key elsewhere - for example from independent companies etc? I would appreciate your advice,

That's normally how Fords come. Several key specialists under ‘specialists’ in useful websites directory at www.honestjohn.co.uk But you don't really need a third key. The non-remote will open and start the car without setting off the alarm
