You have highlighted a problem with Teves ABS/ESP modules, especially in VAG cars many times. Are you able to confirm that this warning does not apply to brand new production of the Golf or Polo as I am about to place an order for one of these. I am hoping that the problem has been resolved at source.

I haven't heard of it in anything post 2007, but that might simply be due to the youth of the cars, or because it would have to be repaired/replaced under the 3 year warranty.
