Pathfindings
Let me state straight away that I'm not a Nissan salesman and have no connection with them, other than having owned my Pathfinder for just under 3 years and 62,000miles. I just wanted to let you know my impressions of it as a long term vehicle in the country: Good: Never less than 42 mpg overall (around 650 miles between refills); Bullet-proof reliability, safety and handling in any conditions; Vast carrying and passenger capacity; Split-tailgate; Hard-wearing and easy to clean interior (with 4 dogs, it has to be); User-friendly and easy to view Satnav system; Better-than average sound system; Rear-view camera far more effective than parking sensors; 18,000 mile service interval; Keyless security system. Not so good: Lowering the spare wheel is tricky and the jack is also very stiff to operate; Needs a parking sensor or another camera at the front - difficult to gauge clearance accurately; Front seats slightly too short; Rear window washer jet is prone to popping out of its recess, especially after a car wash, as it's poorly seated; if unnoticed, rainwater gets in through the hole and pools inside the tailgate structure; Needs a heated windscreen. Overall Looking to keep long-term, while thinking of the V6 diesel version due out this year...
