I can't renew my Blue Badge right now. Can I still use it when it expires?
My Blue Badge is shortly due for renewal. I am unable to contact the Council or get a photo as I am classed as vulnerable and need the Blue Badge for forthcoming hospital appointments. Am I still able to use it when it expires?

The DVLA, councils etc are experiencing a lot of delays at the moment, many dealing with s staff shortage. So, while we can't promise you won't run into any trouble using an expired Blue Badge, as long as you have applied for the renewal then you should be okay to park in the relevant spots. We would expect leniency on certain issues at a time like this.
