What tyres should I buy?
I'm looking to purchase four new tyres for my Suzuki Swift SZ3 (2014). This is my first car and I am still learning the basics and would appreciate some honest advice from the experts. I'm a veterinary student who averages 3000 miles max per year. I use my car weekly for a food shop and travelling to/from farms and my placements all over the UK. Please could you advise one the tyres I should buy?

If you plan to use your car on isolated rural roads during the winter months then you will need a good quality set of all-season tyres. All-season tyres use a different compound of rubber that uses more silica, which makes them softer and better at generating heat (and grip) in low temperatures. They also use deeper tread grooves, which reduces the risk of aquaplaning in heavy rain. I'd recommend something along the lines of the Continental AllSeason Contact or the Michelin CrossClimates.
