Speaks with conviction
I was recently prosecuted for speeding by the North Wales police and fined for the third time in my 50 years of driving. However, I feel that I must join this technological age and provide myself with an electronic system. Can you advise on the best system to help me?

A good Tom Tom satnav that shows both your true speed by GPS and the prevailing limit as well as beeping a reminder when approaching a fixed camera. They cannot be 100% relied upon, especially where there are temporary limits, because their mapping cannot be updated fast enough. But that sort of system is the best there is. If you ever find yourself in a built up are with streetlights, you have to assume the limit is 30 unless you pass small reminders of a higher limit.
