Is juddering a common issue on Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG models?

I get a very bumpy ride and juddering with my Mercedes E43 AMG 4MATIC. Signs of early tyre wear too. The car has a limited turning circle and severe juddering on the steering and tyres. We are complaining to Mercedes-Benz but so far they claim no responsibility. We believe this is a major design fault on an expensive model. Can you advise, please?

Juddering from the front wheels with the steering on full lock is a known issue on 43 AMG models. Mercedes describes it as a 'comfort issue' and suggests changing to winter tyres in cold weather to reduce the effect.
