Toyotal Recall

Until recently, you used to extol the virtues of the Toyota Aygo, recommending the model to many of your readers who required a small 'green' vehicle. Your enthusiasm partly influenced me to buy an Aygo, just over two years ago. I've been pleased with everything about the car and will probably replace it later this year with the latest model. Would you think this is wise, and taking 'trade in' into account, do you now recommend some other model? A disservice seems to have been done to Toyota, and this wasn't stressed, to my knowledge, by 'the trade'.

I did everything I could to curb panic about the Toyota recall, even freezing my butt off on Whitehall to record in front of a news crew, but it fell on the deaf ears of TV news media, which simply wanted to sensationalise it. C1s, 107s and Aygos have had a few problems, which you will see in car-by-car breakdown at www.honestjohn.co.uk
The new Suzuki Alto and Nissan Pixo are pretty much the same cars.
But the Hyundai i10 1.2 Kappa is better.
