I assume that your advice re fitting winter tyres to all 4 wheels applies equally to "wearing" Autosocks, especially to a RWD car (Lexus IS250), even though the Autosocks website make no mention of this and their videos only show use with FWD cars.

No. Autosocks are just to get you out of heavy snow. They use fibres to collect snow that then sticks to the snow on the ground and gives grip. They are completely unsuitable for cleared tarmac or ice and need to be removed once you are out of thick snow.
