Drop head gorgeous

I am thinking of buying a convertible. Can you tell me which cars might be the best value for money, also considering design, price of service and repairs, etc. I would be paying under £30,000, more like £20,000 - £25,000. I would like a convertible hard top, where you just push a button and the roof rolls back automatically. Also would also like a proper back seat, like in the Ford Focus convertible. I am not sure whether to buy brand new or second hand (1 or 2 years old); any advice? This is the one and only time I will be making such a purchase and I don't want to make a mistake.

In my opinion the nicest of the lot is the Lexus IS250C. Top up or top down it’s the most refined convertible you can buy. Test and video here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/road-tests/lexus/lexus-i...t It’s £35,000 but was launched 9 months ago so there may be a possibility of getting an 2009 for under £30,000.
