Coming unstuck

Help. I bought a 1-year-old Vauxhall Corsa from our local Vauxhall dealer on Friday, and on Saturday realised that only the top half of the rear windscreen was de-misting. I took it back to their service department, and I was told that in peeling off their dealer sticker I had damaged the heating element. Surely it is their negligence in putting their sticker over the element in the first place, and also why wasn't I warned that removing it may cause damage? All I did was use my fingernail under one corner and it peeled off easily. Having paid £10,000 for a new car I am now faced with a repair bill of £350 less than a week later.

This reads like a spoof letter, but I'm going to give you a polite reply: I'm very sorry, but there is no-one to blame but yourself.
