Why are my car's windows opening by themselves?

I have just been out to my SEAT Ateca 1.4 TSI and found all of the electric windows open. I have not used the car for three days and know they were closed when I parked the car.
Any thoughts on what could have caused this?

Can be caused by sitting on the button on the remote and activating the 'global windows opening' function. But more likely to be caused by moisture ingress to the locking and windows ECU inside the driver's door.

I returned to my car to find all of the windows open. Is there a fault with the motors used to open/close the windows? The car is a SEAT Leon.
