Just out of interest to Motorhome owners it is worth noting that whilst the main recovery agencies are happy to take your money most of them will not recover Motorhome over 6 metres long (which most are) as they simply do not have the equipment to do so. The only agency that does as far as I know is Green Flag of which we are members. They are also quite good at getting you back into your Motorhome when you and the wife have gone for an early morning shower in your dressing gowns and locked your self out. Over the past few seasons we have come across quite a few owners who have been caught out by the 6-metre rule because it is only mentioned in the small print. Incidentally we Motorhome drivers with our heavy-duty suspension and very special near solid camper tyres are immune to damage from speed humps and potholes. All we need to remember is to keep our mouths clamped shut to prevent our fillings falling out.

That's a good point. But anyone in a club or association of motorhome owners would know that, surely?
