Ringer rosy?

I bought a car and it turned out to be a ringer. Is it not possible for me to keep it and get it insured legally? I’ve read some information on ringers on the Internet but it just says stay clear. Now I find I have one I want to know if I can keep it legally and not be in trouble driving past police or anything like that. I really want the car and don’t want to loose it and can’t afford to buy anything else so I’m stuck.

No. The car belongs to its rightful owner, if he can be found. Or his insurer, if the insurer paid out on it as a total loss.
