Niagara fall

Your recent mention of “unintentional acceleration” of automatics, reminds me of a gravestone epitaph my brother claims to have seen on the rocks at the base of Niagara Falls in Canada (just below the viewing area car park): "Here ended the life of Jonathan Blake. He stepped on the gas instead of the brake." I been teaching myself two footed control, and almost have it mastered at slow and fast speed.

Well remembered. It's good to be able to two-foot brake all the time. But the only time it's crucial for your safety and the safety of everyone
around you is while manoeuvring in confined spaces. A doctor pointed out that what often happens with elderly one-foot brakers is that the welt of their right shoe gets trapped under the brake.
