Could I have the benefit of your advice please? I have owned a Honda CR-V VTEC Sport since new and now, at just over 3 years old and 27,000 miles, it will shortly need a new set of tyres all round. The originals are BF Goodrich 215 R16 98T. I have been perfectly happy with them, could you please advise of the modern day equivalent? My Main requirement is that the new tyres should give off the least amount of road noise.

I replied, “I rate Pirelli Scorpions as best. Then, 5 months later, P.G. wrote back: “Very many thanks for your advice. I have done 4,000 miles on the Pirellis and they are so much quieter than the original tyres. It’s like having a new car.”
