I own a 2001 Honda Accord V-type 2.3L which is really a Rolls with another badge. However, the neatly fitted integral sat-nav system is now antiquated and needs new data. Honda very politely told me all it could offer is a £140 CD-Rom of 2006 vintage and has no plans that would assist me further. Yes I could buy a new Tom-Tom and stick it on the windscreen separately - but I'd prefer to update my neatly integrated existing screen. Uncharacteristically, Honda seems happy to abandon me in this matter. Do you know of something from elsewhere which I could stuff in the slot and have current accurate data once again?

You might find something on eBay. But the IT business generally (and Microsoft in particular) is all about built-in obsolescence and does not generally support computers and computer systems 6 years old. You are asking for support of a 9 year old system.
