Just the ticket
Has anybody calculated the money benefit of the over 60s bus pass because people whose eyesight and/or reaction time is failing are driving less and having fewer accidents. Some people suggest that the bus pass should not be given to all because many can afford the fare but I would have thought that fewer accidents is worth it.

I know people who utterly and completely depend on their bus passes for mobility that their miserable state pension would not otherwise allow. But I take your point.
