Hyundai ix35 fuel economy
My partner has recently bought a new 2.0 CRDI manual Hyundai ix35 but she has not seen anywhere near the fuel economy the official figures suggest having done approx 2,000.
The supplying garage said that after approx 5,000 miles the economy will improve, is this likely or do you think we should speak garage / manufacturer about this?

Nothing does the figures the compulsory EC Certification process demands. They qualify for low CO2 tax but cannot achieve the calculated economy. Blame the EC.
