X3 problems?

My daughter is proposing to buy a 2008 BMW X3 3.0l auto Diesel with 58000 miles on the clock. She mainly wants the car for transporting 2 children with prams, pushchairs and all that young children require. From your experience I would ask you if this vehicle has any major problems which we should be aware of. The car is less than 3 years old and would come with a BMW/dealers 12 month warranty.

They were never very good which is why I was so pleased with the new X3 that eliminates all the faults of the old one and shoots straight to the top of the class. Car by car breakdown entry here:
