We are about to take the plunge and buy a brand new Kia Sportage and trade in our '08 B7 Audi A4 Avant. We're undecided to go to a dealership or take the plunge and buy and sell through Buyacar.co.uk The latter seem to offer a great trade in and price at part ex + 7,900. However we're worried they may quibble over condition and also that the car they are offering is one of the First Edition Sportages - great, but I'm a bit sceptical there are any left now! Do we pursue that or do we go to the dealers and order the lower spec 2.0 KX-2 we originally were looking for. We haven't dealt on the internet before...

Ask them if they are sure they can get hold of the car. I'd be surprised. I've just taken delivery of a new 2WD 1.7 Sportage diesel. That seems to work surprisingly well. Better than I remember the 2.0 diesel auto 4WD in Korea.
