What's the best performance saloon for £20k?
It's about time to replace my 2006 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro. I really enjoy driving this car, can you recommend a modern performance saloon replacement? It must be an automatic, petrol, around £20k and less than five years old.

I'd be tempted by a BMW 3 Series. There's a variety of engines available for your budget... the 330i would be a lovely car to own but avoid if you're worried about fuel bills. A Mercedes-Benz C-Class could be another good option.
