What's the best premium estate car for £25,000?

I have around £25,000 to spend on a used estate car. I want to replace my old 2010 Volvo XC70 which is dependable but boring. I can't decide between the BMW 530 XDrive, Mercedes-Benz E350, and Audi A6. I do about 12,000 miles per year and would like better performance but need storage space for my fishing gear. What would you buy?

How about a Volkswagen Golf R Estate? It's a bit smaller than the cars you're looking at but very practical for its size and a lot of fun. You'll get a choice of tidy examples from around 2017 within budget. Alternatively, a Jaguar XF Sportbrake sounds like it could fit the bill. They're great to drive, feel pretty special and should have plenty of room for your fishing gear.
