Where can I get cheap car hire insurance?

I am going to be spending a few weeks in Australia. The insurance company that have associated themselves with Budget Car Rentals wants an exorbitant £9/day to cover accident costs. In the UK I have a clean, no claims licence. How can I obtain a sensibly priced cover for the Australian car hire?

Try, www.finder.com.au/car-rental-excess-insurance you can find policies that will just cover the excess, or full cover. Click on the drop down boxes for the different products. Also have a read of www.ridehacks.com/ultimate-guide-to-rental-car-ins.../
