Is a low mileage pick-up a good buy?
I have the opportunity to purchase a well looked-after Nissan Navara 2.3-litre diesel auto. It has 9000 miles and was first registered in May 2016. The owner is fastidious about the care of every car he has owned, so I have no worries there. Are you aware of any problems this engine or the automatic gear box may have encountered as it ages? Have the engine or the box been used in previous models of the car?

Pick-ups are not designed for short runs. And with 9000 miles on the clock over two years, I'd be very worried about the diesel particulate filter. We've had a couple of reports of DPF problems with the Navara. And in each case Nissan has refused to fix them under warranty: vans.honestjohn.co.uk/van-reviews/nissan/navara-np...d
