Is is worth switching insurers upon renewal?

I’ve just had my renewal premium from my insurer for my Volkswagen California. It had gone up by 10 per cent on last years', so I decided to shop around. I found the exact cover for £100 less with another company. What's the catch?

No catch, it's always worth shopping around. Insurers offer introductory discounts to get our custom, then raise the premium when they have it.
