Skoda Yeti has 100k on the clock - should I keep or sell?

I would like to ask you for help regarding my decision to sell my six year old Skoda Yeti 4x4 diesel. I drive at least 100 miles per day to get to work and am very satisfied with my Yeti. It is great to drive and it has very low fuel consumption. However, due to high mileage the car will now have approximately 100k miles and the clock it ticking to change everything that needs to be changed. And the clutch is also getting worn out so that to will need to be changed in the near future.

I was thinking about selling my Yeti and buying a used petrol (or diesel?) Toyota Avensis or three year old Hyundai i30, Kia Cee'd or Ford Mondeo. What do you think?

You could be in for a lot of expense with the Yeti soon: clutch, DMF, timing belt, tensioner, waterpump, DPF, Haldex clutch and you won't get that money back, so better to p/x. Avensis 1.8i or 2.0i Valvematic very good (diesels not good); KIA cee'd and Hyundai i30 1.6CRDIs reliable; Mondeo good parts supply and Econetic diesel will do 50mpg. Peugeot's 1.2 Puretech 130 3-cylinder engine in 308 very torquey (230Nm) and economical (49mpg). Dacia Duster 1.2 TCe 125 4x4 for just £14,895 works well but 36mpg. New SEAT Ateca good, even the 1.0TSI. Also look at the Suzuki Vitara and Ssangyong Tivoli.
