Possible gearbox crunch on a new car

I've just bought a brand new Vauxhall Astra, but when I change from first to second gear I can feel, but not hear, a slight crunch. Is this normal for a new car? It is less than one month old and has less than 500 miles on the clock. It goes away once the car has warmed up.

It might be normal. Might be the external selector mechanism wearing it. Worth taking up with the Vauxhall dealer.
