2007 SEAT Ibiza 1.2 Reference Sport front arches rusting

I have a 2007 Seat Ibiza 1.2 Reference Sport. I have just noticed that both the front wheel arches are rusting. I am the third owner of the car however the manual states the bodywork warranty is for 12 years, do you think Seat will honor this? I have contacted them by email about 2 weeks ago but no reply as yet. I am going to contact my local Seat garage to see if I can book it in for an inspection.

Hadn't heard of this on Ibizas before. Golfs and Passats, yes, due to some insulating material that got wet and held moisture. VW was fixing them. If it's inside to outside penetrative rust and the car has not suffered any cheaply repaired crash damage then the SEAT 12 year warranty should cover it.
