Ford Mondeo diesel - keep or scrap?

I'm thinking about changing my 2006 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI for a Rover 75 2.5 V6 Automatic 2001, is this a good idea or am I mad to buy an older car?

If you are thinking of cherishing the Rover 75 as a classic that might start rising in value, yes. If you merely want to use it as an everyday car, then better the car you already have, or something newer.
