Citroen Xsara Picasso - 1.6HDi or 2.0HDi?

I am hoping someone can give me some advice; I am looking at buying a Citroen Xsara Picasso. Should I go for the 1.6HDi or the 2.0 HDi? Is one more reliable than the other?

The 2.0HDI was by far the most reliable and no risk of getting one with a diesel particulate filter. Easy 50mpg. But only ran until February 2004 when it was replaced by the 1.6HDI. So will be at least 11 years old.
