Buying used - Mazda2 or Suzuki Swift?

I like the Mazda2 (2007 onwards) and Suzuki Swift (2010 onwards).

1) Can you please tell me which would be more reliable in the longer run if I were to buy used?

2) Which of these would have the lower overall running costs?

3)Which is the best colour to retain its value - I will prefer 5 door

4) The preferred engine for economy and reliability?

5)Roughly which year had the most robust, reliable model?
