I recommend buying winter tyres in summer for a big discount.

It’s summer and, having sourced four original wheels from a scrapper, I have today purchased winter tyres each at less than £50 including VAT. These are a top brand, too. I could have bought cheaper ones. I understand that summer is the best time to buy. I propose to install from November to March inclusive unless you advise otherwise.

That's right. Get the tyres fitted to the wheels now, then swap the wheels around at the end of October. £50 each is brilliant.
