Honda Civic Faulty batch of cylinder heads - could you clarify?

Could you just clarify some details about the Honda Civic.

Having read your review of the 2006 models in the Good & Bad section it states
'Faulty batch of cylinder heads on second quarter 2008 production can lead to excessive oil consumption.'

Could you please confirm what engine this fault applies to as I am looking at buying a Honda Civic from that period.

Thank you. That did warrant clarification. In fact, 30 Civic 1.8 Si engines were assembled with the wrong exhaust rocker arm shaft due to a mistake on the engine assembly line. This exhaust rocker arm shaft does not properly align with the oil supply holes in the cylinder head. These should all have been successfully recalled to fit new cylinder heads.
