What do you think of the Extreme 360?

I have a 1998 Peugeot 406 Coupe SE Coupe 3.0V6. I’ve owned the car since 1999, when I paid £25,000 for it, and it has covered 80,000 miles. I have just retired and have come across the Extreme 360, which is a Ferrari 360 replica body kit that is fitted to the coupe for about £12,000 (as far as I can ascertain). My questions are: am I throwing away a perfectly usable coupe and spending a lot of money to acquire something that will never sell in the future? My last insurance quote said that my car was worth all of £750, so further investment is questionable. And do you have any views on the Extreme 360 as a vehicle?

I'd never even heard of the Extreme 360, so I looked it up. www.extreme-sportscars.com/360/index.html Extraordinary. It does look very good indeed. But it isn't a classic and the Pininfarina 406 coupe is a classic. Besides which, you would be putting 13-year-old 80,000 mile mechanicals into it. Some would, but I wouldn't.
