Thanks to Audi for great customer service when repairing my wife's 1.8T Cabriolet Sport's gearbox.

My wife drives an Audi 1.8T Cabriolet Sport which we have had from new since September 2004. The auto gearbox failed last week at 42,800 miles and because we have had full services from Audi they are picking up 50 per cent of the £4,500 cost of a new gearbox. They are also lending her a car for the duration of repair as the gearbox will take 10 days or so to be delivered from Germany. We have been Audi owners since 1993. I call this a good service.

So do I. Several readers have recently reported being well looked after by Audi dealers. Makes the premium for the cars worthwhile. And, of course, you get most of the premium back when you re-sell.
