DAB Switchover - can you clarify?

In this Saturday's Daily Telegraph you state that radio interference 'is now happening as part of the gradual switchover to DAB'. Could you please expand on this as I am not aware that any such switchover has yet been instigated.

Basically, wavebands such as Medium Wave are ceasing to be technically "supported".
