Time to change from the Nissan Note?

Three years ago I purchased a Nissan Note Accenta 1.6 Automatic with 16" wheels and although only having done 12,000 miles have been very pleased with the car which you were recommending regularly. Only minor problem has been with the auxilliary belt.
Reading your column each week, it appears that you are no longer recommending the Note which I understand is to be replaced.
Are you perhaps now suggesting it is time to change before the new model becomes available?
