Volkswagen engine codes
For SEAT Leon/Toledo and Volkswagen Golf/Bora Skoda Fabia/Octavia 1.9 TDI 130 engines, it is recommended that the best vintage is probably an AWX engine code from 2004.
However on checking, the only cars VAG use these engines in are Audi A4(B6) 12/00-06/03, Audi A6(06/01-01/05), Passat B5(10/00-05/05), and finally the Skoda Superb (12/01-03/08) - So, this engine code was not used in any Golf, Leon, Toledo or Bora.

That's a logitudinal installation 1.9TDI. The transverse engine was different. Different water pump drive.
